TECH BYTE: New Apple, Samsung Phone Features
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — If you’re looking for ideas for your Easter basket this year, both Apple and Samsung have new phones that can easily fit inside.
You can now pre-order the Apple iPhone 14 and 14 Plus in a new color – yellow.
This ray of sunshine on your phone comes just in time for spring.
It seems to be a tradition for Apple this time of year.
The tech company added green to its iPhone 13 color lineup last year, and purple for the iPhone 12 in 2021.
For the iPhone 14, you can also choose from several other colors – from red to purple.
Apple’s even sticking to the spring theme with a new watch band, and silicone iPhone cases.
The yellow iPhone 14 or 14 Plus are available starting March 14.
As for Samsung, it’s come out with an upgraded Samsung Galaxy smartphone – the S23.
This latest series of phones includes the Galaxy S23, S23 Ultra, and S23+.
With this lineup, Samsung says they’re taking mobile security to the next level.
They feature Samsung Message Guard, which can keep a malicious image in a text message from compromising the device.
The S23 also has an upgraded camera and processor.
Like the iPhone 14, these Samsung phones have several colors to choose from – like green, lavender, and even some only available at samsung.com.
All of the phones in the Samsung Galaxy S23 series are already available in stores and online.
