Tennessee adds Saturday appointments for REAL ID at 14 driver services centers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security has announced additional Saturday appointments at 14 Driver Services Centers across the state for residents who still need to get a REAL ID.

The new hours begin Saturday, March 22, at 13 locations, with the Savannah center adding Saturday appointments on March 29.

The extended availability will continue through May 7, which is the deadline for REAL ID implementation.

The following locations are participating in the Saturday appointments:

Middle Tennessee

• Clarksville – 220 West Dunbar Cave Road

• Columbia – 1701 Hampshire Pike

• Cookeville – 4600 South Jefferson Ave.

• Nashville/Hickory Hollow – 5216 Hickory Hollow Pkwy.

West Tennessee

• Bartlett – 6340 Summer Ave.

• Jackson – 100 Benchmark Circle

• Memphis/East Shelby Drive – 3200 East Shelby Drive

• Oakland – 160 Beau Tisdale Drive

• Savannah – 1016 Pickwick St. (beginning March 29)

East Tennessee

• Chattanooga/Bonny Oaks – 6502 Bonny Oaks Drive

• Johnson City – 4717 Lake Park Drive

• Knoxville/Strawberry Plains – 7320 Region Lane

• Morristown – 1551 East Morris Boulevard, Suite 2

• Oak Ridge – 475 Oak Ridge Turnpike

Saturday appointments are available only to current Tennessee driver’s license or ID holders.

Those applying for a REAL ID without a valid Tennessee credential must visit a Driver Services Center Monday through Friday.
