Tennessee starts early voting on Wednesday

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)- Early voting kicked off on Wednesday in the Volunteer State .

“The whole point of being in this country is you have a right to state your opinion. There has never been a more important time or important vote that I know of than this one we’re currently in,” said Joseph Jacob Angle

Folks lined up outside to cast their vote for the 2024 Presidential election.

Angle believes it is vital to get out and vote.

“I have voted in every election since I turned a majority, and I do not even care how people vote, as long as they get out and vote,” said Angle.

Tennesseans will also cast their ballot for the U-S House of Representatives and U-S Senate.

Along with the Tennessee House of Representatives and Tennessee Senate.

Blakely Cohen says casting your vote can make a difference in this year’s election.

“I am literally voting, because people’s lives depend on it. If you do not do something, then you can not look at the world around you and blame anybody but yourself for not doing something important,’ said Cohen.

And being a first time voter, Ethan Miller hopes to see change in our country.

“It is very important, because we are the young generation. We are going to be here for the next 40 to 50, years” said Miller. “So we want to see great things happen with our country, and great people do it. So it is really important for us to get out here and vote make some changes that.”
