Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union celebrates 90 years of service

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU) is celebrating 90 years of serving members and strengthening communities throughout the Tennessee Valley and northwest
Georgia, they say.

To commemorate the milestone, TVFCU will celebrate in different ways on Friday, June 5 (TVFCU’s actual birthday) and Saturday, June 6.

On Friday, TVFCU will host a ribbon-cutting celebration at its downtown Chattanooga headquarters in partnership with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, anniversary celebrations will take place at TVFCU branches, featuring small member giveaways and treats throughout the business day.

They say the anniversary celebrations will continue during TVFCU Riverfront Nights on June 6 starting at 6 p.m. The free concert at Ross’ Landing will feature live music, activities, giveaways, and a money machine experience for credit union members.

They also share TVFCU is running a special promotion called the Summer of Magic campaign. The credit union will offer weekly $1,936 giveaways as a thank-you to TVFCU Perks Checking Account holders (who are automatically entered) and as a way to celebrate its founding year, 1936. The first winner will be announced June 5.
