The BumbleBear Games are here in Chattanooga this weekend

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — This weekend The BumbleBear Games are showing up at the Marriott, showcasing the arcade game, Killer Queen, at the BumbleBash5.

This festival includes a very popular game, Killer Queen, along with various other modern arcade games.

One of the CEOs and makers of the game, Nikita Mikros says, “The Beginnings of the game were like very experimental and what evolved and became killer queen is really different from where it started.”

Members of the arcade gamming community came from all over the states to visit Chattanooga and play at the BumbleBash 5.

There were tournaments for various games, host panels, talks, and roundtables about all aspects of modern arcade games.

All players of any level of experience were welcomed to join in on the fun and become a part of the veteran’s gaming community.

Amanda Camacho, their social media manager says, “Man, these people are just the best, this is the kindest crew, and I’m even going to get a little sentimental about it because they’re family. Everyone here is family. Everyone who comes here as a stranger will leave as a friend and I think that that is so important. With the way that the world is these days, I think that this is a type of thing you need in your life. You just need a little bit more joy and fun with your friends.”

Of course there was live music, karaoke, and even good food to share.

This official event is happening for the rest of the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, but there are individual activities during the day.

You can click here to see their official itinerary and keep up with each individual event, at the Marriott on 2 Carter Plz, Chattanooga, TN 37402
