The Local Dive Retail Holds Grand Opening

The interior of the Local Dive Retail consignment shop, which held its grand opening on Saturday on the Northshore.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Chattanooga Northshore welcomed in a new consignment shop today.

The Local Dive Retail Consignment Shop opened at 6-33 Cherokee Boulevard with its grand opening event.

The shop features numerous local vendors who sign up for spaces inside the store to sell their products.

There were also five food trucks and three bands who made their opening day a special one.

Co-owner and founder Andi, said of its inspiration,  “I’d like to say between Dirty Jane’s and Collective Clothing, two of my favorite stores in Chattanooga.”

The other co-owner and founder Mindy, said that, “Like a mashup, so we’re bringing in local artists, bringing in different collections here, we have vintage clothes, vintage furniture, everything that you didn’t know that you needed, when you get here you’re going to need it.”

Any interested parties that would like to sell their products at the shop are asked to stop by.

The Local Dive Retail has Facebook and Instagram pages and plans to have their own website up and running soon.
