The Peach festival is right around the corner
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Market is getting ready to go all-in on one of summer’s sweetest fruits.
The Peach Festival returns next weekend, bringing fresh flavor, fun, and a wide variety of peach-themed treats to the First Horizon Pavilion.
Local vendors will be on-site with everything from fresh peaches to peach salsa, jams, jellies, pastries, and cobblers.
Trey Deck, Mayor of Chickamauga, says this is one event he never misses.
“Next week is the Peach Festival,” he said. “The Peach Festival is gigantic.”
Deck says there’s something for everyone at the event.
“You can come out and see all the wonderful varieties of peaches,” he said. “You can buy just about anything you’re looking for.”
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but Deck encourages folks to come early to get the best selection.
“I urge you to come early,” he said. “Because the Peach Festival is the best festival we have all year.”
He plans to attend in person and hopes others will too.
“Chattanooga Market next week,” he said with a grin. “I’ll be here—will you?”
The Peach Festival takes place Saturday, July 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1826 Reggie White Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37408.
