The Turf Tank is making its mark in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – New technology has made its way to the Chattanooga area. One of the newest and most effective being the Turf Tank. 

The Turf Tank robots are painting the lines and areas on local athletic fields in and around Chattanooga with the Chattanooga Christian School being its latest project. 

When you go to football games, soccer games or even just the local park, you may notice the strategically placed lines painted on the field to represent sections or yards. Usually, these lines may take hours or even days to paint let alone the focus to make the lines perfectly straight. 

However, with the Turf Tank, a project that usually takes 8-10 hours with 2 people, now only takes 3 hours and 29 minutes.

With this new technology, individuals can see perfected, straight lines being painted quickly and efficiently. The device can even paint the name or logo onto any field.
