Third Woman Gloria Brown Arrested in Connection To Caged Special Needs Children In Chatsworth
"Bond is set to the amount of 25,000 dollars"
Brown faces charges of cruelty to children and false imprisonment.
"Stay away from the two alleged victims in this case, the ones with the counts of cruelty to children and the defendant shall have no children to reside in her home are you clear on that Mrs. Brown?".
Brown, Stephanie Stone’s aunt was in charge of both special needs children at this home on Bahamas Dr in Chatsworth last week.
64 year old Brown lived here in this rural community off Fredrick Road in Cohutta.
Neighbors say they have not heard or seen of Brown in nearly 7 or 8 years, they say she lived a very secluded and private life and went by the name Jeanie.
Other neighbors who exchanged Christmas cards with Brown said both her and her husband were friendly and are shocked by the news.
Both children aged 11 and 8 are being taken care of by DFCS.
Family friend Wanda Redfern has also been charged with neglect.
All three women are being held on 25,000 dollar bonds each, as of Tuesday evening all remained in the custody of Murray County Sheriff’s Office.
The children’s mother Stephanie Stone faces an additional charge of meth possession.
