Three charged in shooting at Springbrook Apartments

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — Cleveland Police say three individuals have been charged after the December 12th shooting at Springbrook Apartments that killed Adam Johnson.

According to police, 22 year old Jackie Ingram, 18 year old Nathan Bean, and 18 year old Derrick Brown were charged with 1st Degree Felony Murder.

Police say on December 12th, the three suspects, along with 18-year-old Adam Johnson, attempted to commit a violent crime at Springbrook Apartments.

In the process, a resident shot and killed Johnson and injured Bean.

State law says the suspects are now responsible for their friend’s death because they were committing a crime when the shooting happened.

Other charges are pending.
