TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – On Tuesday, the principal at Dade County High contacted the Sheriff’s Office about a threat.
The message “f*** this school, im killing all of you 2morrow” was written on the bathroom wall.
The school had identified a suspect based on video evidence and witnesses.
The principal immediately placed the female on suspension.
Deputies then located and charged the suspect with Terroristic Threats and Acts.
“Sheriff Cross wants the community to know that the Dade County Sheriff’s Office takes these types of threats very seriously. He also wants everyone to know that these types of incidents will be prosecuted to the fullest extent that Georgia law allows.”

This morning, a parent called 911 about a Snapchat picture of a student from North Murray High posing with firearms.
No specific threat was added.
The School Resource Officer and deputies picked up the student at the school.
The student never had any weapons on campus and students were not in danger.
“As always, the safety and security of our children and staff is our greatest priority.”

SCOTTSBORO, Alabama (WDEF) – Northeast Alabama authorities investigated a threat of their own over night.
The verbal threat was made Tuesday afternoon against Section High School on Sand Mountain.
Sheriff’s officers arrested a 16 year old for making the threats Tuesday night.
Sheriff Chuck Phillips said reports today on Facebook about the school being on lockdown and guns being found at the school were all false.
“The issue is when people do not know the facts or have the facts and post on Facebook.”
