Throwback Thursday from the New 12 Archives: Survivor Games

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Last week, our Throwback Thursday story took us back to 1985 to remember the summer fun at Raccoon Mountain Campground.

In that story, they mentioned the "Survivor Games" they also offered at the park.

This was before the TV show and didn’t have any tropical islands.

Instead, it was an early version of paintball.

So you get low tech guns, but a lot more camo (do you remember the old paintball guns where you were lucky if every other shot went anywhere?)

But who were these guys who helped launch the paintball craze?
