Tide Engergized by Jonathan Allen’s ‘Superman’ Exploits

Alabama defensive tackle Jonathan Allen is being credited with a Superman tackle this season.
It occured against Texas A&M when he hurdled a running back to sack quarterback Trevor Knight.
If that play wasn’t enough, Allen also returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Allen may not be the ‘Man of Steel’, but he was the ‘Man of the Highlight Reel’.
Said Allen:”It was cool. I thought it was cool. But I try not to focus on that. I try to focus on what I have to do to get better.”
Said defensive back Minkah Fiztpatrick:”He’s a crazy athlete. he can do stuff like that and go out there and do it again over and over again. It’s kind of fun to watch him play. We get really excited when he makes plays because people don’t really do that at his position. So it’s a lot of fun. Great confidence and moral boost when he does make those plays.”
