Tip leads to meth for resale arrest in East Ridge

EAST RIDGE, Tennessee (WDEF) East Ridge police charge two people with possession for resale of meth and other drugs.

They got a tip about drug activity at an apartment on Burr Street on Monday.

Officers say they found two bags under the bed with 6.96 ounces of methamphetamine, digital scales, plastic zip bags and $14,008 in cash.

46 year old Christopher Wilson denied any knowledge of the drugs, but was arrested anyway.

Police also took in 43 year old Patricia Desalvo.

Her probation agreement allowed officers to search her, and they found meth in her purse along with hydrocodone tablets mixed with her other prescription pills.

They say she later told them that Wilson stashed the drugs under the bed when he saw police pull up.
