Titans QB Marcus Mariota Hopes to Stay Healthy in 2019
Will this be the year Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota finally stays healthy?
Or will it be more of the same for the injury riddled quarterback. It seems Mariota just can’t avoid getting hurt every season. He missed three games last year with a variety of injuries, including nerve damage, a cracked vertebra, and a broken rib among others. Right now Mariota says he feels fine as the team went through their first OTA’s this week.
Reporter:”Do you take a different approach over the last couple of years just the health stuff. Is it a different approach this year?”
Said Mariota:”No. Just try to be the best that I can be. Obviously health wise there’s some things that towards the end of the year I wish had happened differently. It’s just kind of the nature of the beast. The game that we play.”
Reporter:”Do you try not to be I guess for this point in your career to be defined by that because it’s the nature of the business?”
Said Mariota:”You know I don’t worry about it. I just have to continue to focus on what I can do here with these guys. Other people’s opinions don’t matter to me. I just have to be the best that I can be.”
