Titans Seeking Home Field Advantage as They Prepare For Home Opener
The Titans make their home debut this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Tennessee opened on the road last week with a win over Kansas City.
Quarterback Jake Locker had a pair of touchdown passes, and the Titans didn’t have any turnovers.
That’s a winning formula.
That kind of play could help the Titans establish a much-needed home field advantage at L-P Field.
Said head coach Ken Whisenhunt,"Well this is the first time our fans get to see us hopefully without rain in the stadium. Yeah I think it’s important. I mean we have to establish a bond with our fans."
Said Locker,"We’ve said from the beginning that we want to play well at home. We don’t want to let anyone steal one from us here. And that’s going to be our goal."
Said safety Bernard Pollard,"They’re coming in to spoil our home opener. For us we need to be focused and serious at all times."
