Titans Set to Host Reigning Super Bowl Champions

The Titans host the reigning Super Bowl Champs Sunday in Philadelphia. Quarterback Marcus Mariota will start even though he’s still fighting that elbow injury that leaves him with tingling in his throwing hand. Tennessee would love to count on their rugged running game, but the Eagles come to town with the NFL’s top defense in stopping the run. Their allowing just 62 yards rushing a game.

Said Titans center Ben Jones:”Everyone knows we run the ball. that’s what we pride ourselves on. So we definitely know we’ve got a challenge ahead of us, and they have a great defense. We are looking forward to the challenge.”
Said linebacker Brian Orakpo:”Definitely a big challenge ahead with the defending champs coming to Nashville. So yeah I’m not going to put any extra pressure on ourselves. Just go out there and execute.”
Added safety Kevin Byard:”Defending champions coming in so you want to play your best football. it’s going to be a great measuring stick for this game for us to show where we are at as a team. But in the end, it’s not a must win game, it’s a game that we need because it’s a home game, and we want to defend our home turf.”
