Titans tight end DeLanie Walker has received death threats after he posted a message telling fans not to come to games, if they felt bad after the team did not come out for the national anthem last Sunday.
Walker called the threats heart-breaking.
A sentiment echoed by his head coach.
Said Mike Mularkey:”I know he’s about as much of a pro I’ve ever been around on and off the field. So yeah, it’s important that they get to speak. They’re allowed to.”
Reporter:”Is it alarming to you.”
Mularkey:”I’m ready to talk about Houston.”
Reporter:”For death threats to be involved in something like this.”
Mularkey:”I think we have to be alarmed, and we have alerted the right people.”
