Toddler killed, Newborn in ICU after accident

Wilmington, NC (CNN) – A two year old boy was killed in an accident over the weekend near Wilmington, North Carolina.

His pregnant mother was injured and had to undergo an emergency C-section.

Authorities say the driver of a truck failed to slow down and slammed into the family’s vehicle on Saturday.

The woman’s husband, a church leader, was also injured.

Their newborn is in the hospital fighting for his life.
