Tow Truck Drivers Celebrate 100 Years

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Tow truck drivers have a reason to celebrate this weekend.

That’s because it’s the 100th anniversary of the towing industry.

A parade of antique trucks went through Chattanooga Saturday afternoon to commemorate the occasion.

The first patented tow truck was built in the Scenic City in 1916.
