Tracy City landmark building erupts in flames

TRACY CITY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The town of Tracy City lost its landmark building, the Tracy City Fairgrounds Barn, due to a blaze early Monday morning.
It is a total loss.
City leaders say the fairgrounds barn hosted many community events.
Just this summer, a local artist completed an 80 foot mural of the county’s history on the side of the barn.
“While the physical structure is gone, its spirit and the memories it created will forever remain. We recognize the emotional impact this has on our community and encourage everyone to hold onto those treasured moments.”
