Traffic Will Be An Issue at World Cup Soccer Tonight

Chattanooga (WDEF) Chattanooga police release information for people who are heading to Finley Stadium for the soccer exhibition tonight at 6:30.

CLOSURES: In addition to the closure of Reggie White Blvd and 19th St., Chestnut St. will be closed from 17th St. to 19th St.
•The Hwy 27 Main Street exit will be closed once parking lots fill at the stadium to detour traffic to the Martin Luther King Blvd. exit.
•Please watch for message boards and detours posted.
•Expect heavy traffic in the area today (Wednesday 19th).
•Closures will be in effect until approximately 8am on Thursday Aug. 20th.

PARKING OFFSITE: There are a number of additional parking areas adjacent to Finley Stadium near the Chattanooga Marriott, Chattanoogan Hotel, and the Chattanooga Choo Choo.

SHUTTLE: Additional shuttle stops and hours have been added to help shuttle those who park at offsite parking lots. The shuttle will run from 2:30pm to 10:15pm.
