Tree Trimmer dies in fall off Signal Mountain

Walden, Tennessee (WDEF) – A tree trimmer working along the east brow of Signal Mountain fell 150 feet to his death this morning.

The employee of Big Woody’s Tree Service was working at a home along the bluff at 6202 Forest Park Drive.

It is just a few blocks from Little Falling Water Falls.

Rescuers performed CPR on the victim when they reached him, but they could not revive him.

Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services along with Signal Mountain FD, Dallas Bay VFD and Red Bank FD responded to the rescue attempt.
