Truck driver charged in deadly Mother’s Day crash pleads not guilty

The truck driver charged with three counts of vehicular homicide in the fatal Mother’s Day crash on I-75 last year in East Ridge has pleaded not guilty.

A lawyer representing Joseph Antoinier entered that plea on February 20, 2026.

The driver was not present for the hearing.

An affidavit states he was driving an Amazon Prime truck when he failed to stop for stopped traffic at the 75/24 split, causing a fiery multi vehicle accident.

Three people, including a father and his young son, were killed in that crash.
