Truck Driver From I 75 Crash Wanted in Wisconsin

Chattanooga (WDEF) We have more information on the truck driver involved in that crash that killed 6 people last Friday.

Thirty nine year old Benjamin Brewer is wanted on a warrant from Rock County, Wisconsin.

He is accused of illegally obtaining a prescription, according to a clerk in that office.

Since the charge is a misdemeanor, there is no provision for extradition.

Brewer is charged with trying to submit a prescription for narcotics.

Brewer, who works for a Kentucky trucking company, was also ticketed in Florida the day before the fatal wreck in Chattanooga for careless driving.

He has not been charged in Chattanooga.
