Turtle Lane Home Damaged in Morning Fire

A home in Harrison was damaged this morning in a fire.

According to county officials, neighbors reported a fire in the 8000 block of Turtle Lane at around 9 a.m.

The fire appeared to be coming from under the home’s deck.

Fire crews from the Highway 58 Fire Department were the first to arrive.

The firefighters were able to secure the gas and electricity to the area, while also being able to contain the fire to the porch area of the home.

All of the home’s residents were evacuated, and no injuries were reported.

The fire appears to have been accidental.
