TVFCU Idea Leap Grant for Small Businesses

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- If you are a small business in need of some financial help, here is the opportunity for you.

The Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union launches their fourth annual Leap Grant Submission in celebration of National Small Business Week.

Businesses that have operated for a year in TVFCU’s 13 county service area can apply for the chance to win one of five grants that total up to $58 thousand dollars.

Former grant recipients and owners of Chatta-Cakes Bakery, encourages every eligible business to apply.

“Just the advertising alone, even if you don’t win, it will bring in business” said Shannon Anderson, co-owner of Chatta-Cakes Bakery. “It got us corporate accounts. It brought in people that we didn’t even know existed just from ya’lls advertising. So when you apply and you don’t win, just know that just being exposed and just getting picked is an honor.”
