Two 19-year old robbery suspects held on $100,000 bonds

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – Two 19-year old men are being held on $100,000 bonds in connection to a Thursday afternoon armed robbery inside a home.

Jeffrey Coleman and Martez Durran were arrested by Chattanooga police late Thursday night after both were identified by the victim as suspects who committed an armed robbery at a residence in the 1500 block of Morris Hill Drive.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by News 12, the alleged victim told officers that Coleman and Durran knocked on his back door and when he when he open it, Durran pointed a gun to his head. According to the affidavit, both men demanded the victim and his roommate to get down on the floor before demanding all their money.

Police located Coleman at his home in the 6800 block of Granda Drive.

According to police, Coleman admitted to the crime during interrogation.

Two hours later, police located Durran and took him into custody.

Both men were booked into the Hamilton County Jail on $100,000 bonds and both men are due in court next Friday.
