Two arrested after gunfire in Coolidge Park
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Saturday night around 9:21 p.m., Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) officers responded to reports of gunfire at 150 River St.
According to CPD multiple people were seen running from the area after the gunfire.
They say together with witness’s help and CPD technology, two suspects were quickly located & arrested.
CPD says while one suspect was detained, another ran into a nearby neighborhood.
They later found the suspect hiding in a backyard, where he was taken into custody.
During the investigation, officers and CPD K9 Sully recovered firearms and located shell casings at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Both 18 years old suspects, Demarion Langston and London Porter were taken to jail.
They have both been charged with possession of a stolen firearm, felony reckless endangerment, threats of mass violence, and disorderly conduct.
