CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Three men are recovering after police say they were shot in two separate incidents late Friday night into Saturday evening.

According to a police spokesperson, the first one happened just after 11:15 last night in the 100 block of Talley Road.

A 59-year-old man was shot, and as of early this afternoon, you could still see blood on the pavement from what happened.

Officers arrived and helped the man before he was transported to a local hospital.

His injuries are reportedly minor.

Police have very little to go on at this time, and are currently investigating the case.

About 90 minutes later, police were alerted to a different shooting just a few miles away.

One man walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound at 12:45 Saturday night, then a second man was admitted to the emergency room about an hour later.

Both men say they were shot in the 2200 block of Milne Street.

Officers then went to secure the crime scene.

Both victims – one 25, the other 18-years-old – have only minor injuries, but details on what happened are still under investigation.
