TWRA Investigates Paddle Board Fatality on Tennessee River

Chattanooga (WDEF) The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is investigating a paddle board death this week on the Riverfront.

Brenda Drone from New Haven, Illinois was on a board near the Market Street Bridge on Tuesday afternoon.

She was taken to Erlanger with critical injuries, and died early Wednesday morning.

So far investigators determined she was not wearing a flotation device, as required by law.
