Tyner rallied down 15 to win 2022 state title

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- Josh Jackson has been incredible season long. Tyner has played great all season long.

However, things went sideways for Tyner as Jackson threw two interceptions and were trailing 15-0 in the first quarter in the state title game.

Tyner trailed by four at half and took its first lead in the game on the opening possession of the second half with a Jackson to Trae Ruffin Touchdown.

Tyner stood tall on a 2-point conversation with 40 seconds left and won the state title 26-24.
