UPDATE: Bradley County Deputy involved shooting

UPDATE: The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office released the name of the deputy involved in a shooting Tuesday morning.

Deputy Tiffany Oakley has been with the Sheriff’s Office for 2 years.

She’s on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of the TBI investigation.

Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is now looking into an officer involved shooting.

Sheriff Eric Watson says his deputy returned home around two in the morning and found a male intruder there.

There was a struggle, and she eventually shot the man.

He died later from his injuries.

The officer received minor injuries.

The investigation has been turned over to the TBI.
