Update on medical condition of Major

TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Tommy Bradford was seriously injured in the chase when he was putting down spike strips.

He was hit be a pickup driven by Laura Leeann Wooten that officers say was going in excess of 90 miles an hour.

He lost part of his leg.

Major Bradford’s wife posted an update on his condition on Facebook.

She says he had a good night, considering all of his injuries.

The Major received several pints of blood, but his blood pressure is now stabilized.

He possible faces shoulder and pelvis surgery on Wednesday.

She says her husband is still smiling and his only request is for a Diet Dr. Pepper.
