US Senator Bob Corker talks about President’s Iran nuclear deal

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn) dropped by the Scenic City Wednesday.
    He introduced the chairman and C.E.O. of FedEx at today’s Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce annual meeting.
    It was part of the Senator’s statewide travel plan this August to hear from Tennesseans.
    We asked him today about President Obama’s Iran nuclear deal.
    He announced Monday he does not agree with the plan and this is the first time he’s spoken in Chattanooga about the nuclear deal.
    Senator Corker said, "I had a good conversation today with one of my Democratic counterparts who does not support it and is concerned about what it will mean not only to our own country but to the Middle East itself and we’ll just see where it goes."
    Thursday the Senator will head to Jackson, Tennessee to meet with young professionals in Madison County.
