UT signs unique corporate deal for Neyland Stadium
Pilot will pay for renovations to the stadium without changing the name
KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – The University of Tennessee has signed a corporate partnership for Neyland Stadium that will NOT change the name.
They’re calling their deal with Pilot as the first of it’s kind.
Instead, they call it a “preservation partnership.”
The company is providing funding to make improvements to the iconic football stadium at UT.
They’ll call it Neyland Stadium, preserved by Pilot.
Last year, the university announced a naming deal for their basketball facility.
It is now called Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center.
