PARIS, France (WDEF) — UTC golf alum Stephan Jaeger finished in eighth place in the second round of Olympic golf.

Originally born in Munich, Germany, Jaeger is resenting his birthplace in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The former Baylor graduate earned SOCON player of the year three times in 2010, 2011, and 2012 while at UTC.

He shortly turned pro in 2012, joining the Web.com tour, and in 2018 secured his place on the PGA tour.

Jaeger recently won his first PGA tour event at the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open, beating world number one, Scottie Scheffler, by one stroke.

So far in the olympics, he’s shot an even par 71 in the first round, and then shot a 64 in the second round.

Just like a regular PGA match, Jaeger will play four rounds of 18 holes in the Olympic golf tournament.
