Vacant home destroyed in Harrison fire
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A home was destroyed after a house fire in Harrison.
On September 11, 2025, at 6:51 p.m., the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department responded a residential fire on Harrison Bay Road.
Reports came in of smoke in the area.
Upon arrival, crews found a single family home fully engulfed in flames and collapsing.
According to the Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management (HCOEM), the fire was also starting to spread to the nearby woods.
The property told crews that the home was vacant at the time of the fire.
Crews worked to contain the woods fire and the fire inside the structure.
The flames have since been contained, and the fire is under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
No injuries were reported on scene.
Unfortunately, the structure was a total loss.
