Vaccine Settlement Against BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Reaches Approval

A settlement has been approved over a challenge by former employees against BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.

The class action suit challenged the company’s firing of workers who refused to take a COVID-19 Vaccine.

In 2021, BlueCross told 900 employees who had contact with customers that they must get the vaccine.

41 of them did not get it and were filed.

Some claimed that they did not, in fact, come into contact with the public and worked from home.

The company reached a settlement for the suit without admitting guilt.

Some individual lawsuits remain.
