Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Dalton, Georgia today.
She is expected to discuss President Biden’s economic agenda. The Atlanta-Journal Constitution says Harris will visit QCells, an expanding manufacturing plant in Northwest Georgia.
The plant recently announced its plans to spend $2.5 Billion dollars to build a new plant and expand the existing facility in Dalton. This expansion is expected to bring around 2,500 jobs to the state by 2024.
Her visit will focus in on job growth, climate change, infrastructure spending, and encouraging more domestic manufacturing of computer chips, along with also providing relief to business and families during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
