Virginia Confederate flag license plates stir up debate

Richmond-Petersburg, VA (WTVR) – The Confederate battle flag is under renewed scrutiny in the wake of the deadly shootings in Charleston, but it’s not just about pieces of cloth.

In some southern states, the image can also appear on official items like license plates.

In Virginia, the governor is taking steps to change that, though.
