Volkswagen will Suspend Production for two weeks in June

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn (WDEF) – Volkswagen announced they will be suspending production activities for two weeks during the month of June.

Volkswagen says the suspension of production is due to the ongoing global semiconductor shortage.

Production will stop during the weeks of June 7 and June 14.

Regular production operations will resume Monday, June 21.

During the production suspension, manufacturing departments will take the opportunity to implement planned line and quality improvements, ID.4 production readiness activities, and on-the-job training.
