Vols Coach Jeremy Pruitt Believes UT Closing the Gap With Alabama

The Vols whiffed on ending Alabama’s winning streak in the series last Saturday. The second ranked Tide won 48-17 for their 14th straight win over UT. Afterwards though, Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt said the gap was closing between the SEC rivals. He followed up on that remark during his Wednesday presser.

Said Pruitt:”The thing we’ve got to do as a program is it has got to show up on game day. it didn’t this past Saturday. That’s the most important thing. That’s something that we’ve got to continue to work on to help fix, and our guys are doing that.”
