Vols Endure Warm Workout in Jacksonville
The Vols football team went through their first workout in Jacksonville on Monday as they get ready to battle Iowa in the Taxslayer Bowl.
Tennessee certainly experienced Sunny Florida.
It was nearly 80-degrees in Jacksonville.
Head coach Butch Jones says his guys will have to adjust to the heat and humidity.
Former Vols defensive lineman John Henderson spoke to the team before practice.
Jones might wish Henderson could suit up because he could use some experienced players against Iowa.
"They’re a junior and senior dominated football team. So obviously they have the experience factor. You look at their fifth year seniors who are on their fourth bowl game. So they understand the preparation that goes into preparing for a bowl game. How to ex-out all the clutter and distractions."
