Vols Land Verbal Commitment From Nation’s Top Recruit
ESPN’s number one high school football recruit announced on Tuesday that he is going to Tennessee.
Offensive lineman Trey Smith of Jackson, Tennessee, made his decision known during a ceremony at the University School, which was televised live on ESPNU.
Smith picked the Vols over Alabama and Ohio State.
Smith is a five star recruit who stands 6’5 and weighs 310-pounds.
Tennessee now has 24 commitments for their 2017 signing class.
