Walden Ridge Rescue Unveils New Trucks to Enhance Community Emergency Response
Today marks a pivotal moment for Walden Ridge Rescue as they unveil two brand-new rescue trucks. These vehicles are not just state-of-the-art; they represent a commitment to improving emergency response in the community.
“We consider it an investment in the community, and we certainly appreciate the support and financial backing from the county. These two trucks will allow us to diversify the way we carry our equipment. In the past, we faced challenges with all our trucks being tied up, but now that situation will not occur,” said Jim Gault Deputy Chief at Walden’s Ridge Services.
The new trucks are equipped with advanced technology to assist in various rescue situations.
“We can leverage the terrain and a lot of technology to locate lost individuals in the woods. Almost everyone carries a device or cellphone of some sort, so we can use our electronics instead of just calling their names in the woods,” said Jason Lockery Captain at Walden’s Ridge Services.
With these new trucks, Walden Ridge Rescue is poised to make an even bigger impact in emergency services—a true testament to their dedication to the community they serve.
