Walker County Authorities Investigate Murder in Lafayette

Walker Co. (WDEF)  Walker County authorities arrest and charge someone with murder, following a homicide Sunday night in Lafayette.

Details remain limited this morning, but we’re told the crime occurred around 7:30pm at a location on Wheeler Road.

The GBI is helping with the investigation.

The names of the suspect and victim are being withheld until the deceased’s family can be notified.
