Walker County celebrates grand opening of Adventure Acres

ROSSVILLE, Ga.Walker County is celebrating a major milestone with the official grand opening of Adventure Acres, the county’s first signature park.

The new family-focused destination features a treehouse-themed playground, a free splash pad, a walking trail, a pavilion, and other outdoor amenities designed for visitors of all ages.

County leaders say Adventure Acres was created to give families a unique place to gather, play, and build lasting memories while enjoying the outdoors.

CJ Bressoud, DRP Territory Manager, says the park is meant to be more than just a recreational space.

“It’s a safe place in a place where kids will have their first memories and grow and you know it’s tremendous. It’s a tremendous destination that we created and we’re just very pleased and happy to be just a small part of it.”

Officials say the project represents a long-term investment in community recreation and quality of life for Walker County residents. They hope the park will serve as a central gathering place for families and continue growing as a local destination.

With its opening, leaders say Adventure Acres marks a new chapter for outdoor spaces in the county, offering a place designed for play, connection, and community.

Congratulations, Walker County.
