Walker’s hearing in Nashville pushed back
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The court hearing for the Woodmore school bus driver’s aggravated statutory rape charge was pushed back.
On Thursday night, police arrested Johnthony Walker in Nashville and charged him with aggravated statutory rape. Investigators say the victim is a 14-year-old girl. Walker had been staying with her family for the last few months.
Walker was out on bond, while appealing his sentence for the Woodmore bus crash. In April, Judge Don Poole sentenced him to four years in prison for the school bus crash that killed six children.
Walker’s hearing was moved to Thursday, June 21, at 9:05 a.m. central time in Davidson County Criminal Court.
