Walmart & Sam’s Club Offering COVID-19 Vaccines in TN & GA Starting Friday

COVID-19 vaccines will be available through Walmart and Sam’s Club Pharmacies starting Friday. The vaccine will only be available in select states which includes Tennessee and Georgia. Eligibility for the vaccine will be decided by the local health department. As of now, eligible persons are over the age of seventy or under the first phases of the state’s plan. The shot is free, and you must make an appointment online at www.walmart.com/COVIDvaccine.

Gov. Bill Lee says the partnership with Walmart will help increase vaccinations across the state. “As our vaccine numbers go up, we expect to be utilizing dozens, and then hundreds, of providers to get vaccines out to people in every community in Tennessee,” Lee told reporters Wednesday, naming Walmart specifically”, says Gov Lee.
